Launch date: January 12, 2021.
Mission Association: Independent. Partnered with several gospel-preaching churches and individuals for accountability and support.
Mission Focus: To plant an indigenous church in the northern part of Haiti. Our ultimate authority is the Word of God, and our mission to create an authentic Christian community that effectively reaches out to unsaved people with love, acceptance and forgiveness so that they may experience the joy of salvation and a purposeful life of discipleship. To use healthcare as a means to initiate Gospel-outreach and discipleship. To follow the leading of God to secure a ministry site location for the express purpose of planting the church, and additionally a Bible school, medical facility, and vocational training facility as God provides.
Ministry Goal: Our desire is to glorify God by being and making disciples in obedience to His command in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” As individuals it is vitally important to understand the mission of the church. We eagerly await the day when we will put the first rock into the ground and lay the foundation of the church that I (Cilem) will pastor, by God’s grace, in Cap Haitian, Haiti.
Throughout the book of Acts we see church after church being planted. In fact, the purpose was not to plant new churches, but to disciple the nations, reconciling them to the Father through Jesus Christ. It is the will of God that believers be built up in their faith, becoming equipped for works of service and reproducing leaders for building the kingdom.
