Vacation Bible School

SAVE DATE!!!  Colossal Coaster World Vacation Bible School is rolling to Camano Chapel June 17-21.

Kids 4-years old through 4th grade are invited to come and learn to face their fears and trust God ... this VBS is the ultimate ride where kids learn to trust God in the twists and turns of life.

We would love your help with the following snack donations by June 9th:  Goldfish Crackers; Bags of Pretzels; Animal Crackers (all Costco size containers); Graham Crackers (lots!); Marshmallow Creme; Hershey's Syrup; Ice Cream Cones (200 plain-not sugar); Funfetti Cake Mix; Cornbread Mix; L'il Smokies; Strawberry or Raspberry Yogart (32 oz or larger size): Plain Yogart (32 oz or larger size).  Items can be dropped off in the Children's Ministries office or in the VBS tub in the East Royer by June 9th.  Refrigerated items can be marked "VBS" and put in the kitchen refrigerator.  Thank you so much for your help in making VBS a success!

Summer Camp Registration

 Summer Camp Dates are: (Click on camp name below for link to each ministry).

• Junior Camp June 22 - 26, for incoming 4th - 6th graders.
• Sr. High Camp, aka "Summer Breeze," July 22 - 27, for incoming 9th - 12th graders.
• Jr. High Camp August 5-10, for incoming 6th - 9th graders. 

The EDGE (Young Adults)

Thursday Night EDGE (Married or singles 18-30 years old) - 7:30pm, Hearth Room
Join us for a time of fellowship, worship and digging into God's Word.  Free dinner provided and espresso coffee or Italian sodas available for purchase.  E-mail Matt Lee for more information.

Sunday Morning EDGE - 10 to 11am, Hearth Room, Facilitator:  Noel Shook
An Adult Bible Fellowship for married or singles 18-30 years old.

Young Adult Retreat - May 24-25th, Camano Chapel.  
This is going to be an incredible two-day event.  We will be doing everything from an appetizer night, games, worship, great food, fellowship and a mariner game!  Cost is $45.  E-mail Matt Lee for more information.

"Date Your Spouse" Event

Marriage Ministry is sponsoring a "Date Your Spouse" event on Sunday, June 2nd 3:30 - 5:30pm.  We will be going bowling at Twin City Bowling Alley.  Cost is $20 per couple.  This is sure to be a great event filled with fun, fellowship and laughter!  Sign up by e-mailing Sandy Solis.

MOPS Annual Picnic

Fall Semester Class

"Christianity and Culture:  Perspectives on Trending Issues"
Teacher: Pastor Kris

Course Overview:  This class will biblically evaluate topics that are relevant today.

The upcoming Fall CBTC class is open to all who would like to attend. This class runs nine-weeks and will meet on Wednesday nights in Wayland Sanctuary (6:30-8:30pm), September 18th through November 20th.  Tuition is $30.00.  Contact Pastor Steve for registration information at steveredfern@camanochapel.org.  Registration forms are also available at the back of the Worship Center.

The "Next Step" - ABF's

Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) are a great "next step" beyond attending worship services. ABFs are a time of teaching and discussion with an aim of building relationship around God's Word. Touch or click (link) for a listing of Spring Quarter classes. Classes begin Sunday, April 7th at 10:15 a.m. but are designed so you can join any class any Sunday.

All Youth Ministry Night

Calling all children and youth, kindergarten through junior and senior high school, invite your friends and come to Camano Chapel's Tuesday night "All Youth Ministry Night".

Tuesday night's EYP - Experience Youth Project for junior high age and C2 - Capstone 1 3 5 for senior high age, are now joined by Tween for 4th and 5th graders and Kaboom for Kindergarten through 3rd Graders.  Our Wednesday night AWANA program is being replaced by Tuesday night Kaboom, which fits well into our ministry purposes. It will be inviting to children and is offered at no cost to participants. 

Start and end times are as follows:

• EYP - Begins Tuesday, September 4th, and runs from 6pm to 7:30pm, meeting in the main Gym.

• C2 - Begins Tuesday, September 4th, and runs from 7:30 to 9:00pm, meeting in the main Gym.

• Tween and Kaboom - Begin Tuesday, October 2nd, and runs from 6pm to 7:30pm, meeting in Harrington Hall (The Christian Education Building).  NOTE:  Our Tuesday night Kaboom program has finished for the year and will begin again in the Fall.

Pure Word Recovery Mondays

Pure Word is a Christ-centered recovery ministry at Camano Chapel for men and women struggling with life-controlling issues. This group is open to the community every Monday night from 6-8 p.m. in Room 4/6 and then dismissing to separate rooms.
