FALL FOCUS - "Sharing Life Together"
As a church family we desire to continue building deeper relationships with one another. Our fall focus will be on being devoted to sharing life together. Pastors Brett and Kris will be preaching a four-part series from the book of Acts starting on August 31st. There will also be opportunities to join a fall Adult Bible Fellowship and/or small groups.
Saturday, September 6th, 12:30-4:30pm. ALL CHURCH WORK PARTY!!! Tools to bring: Weed eaters, Wheelborrows, Shovels, Large Clippers, Gloves, Trucks or Work Trailers. See you all there!
Beth Moore Live Simulcast - - Saturday, September 13th, 9am. Tickets are available online. Click here to register online. They are also available at the Chapel after each service. Tickets are $10 and sales will close September 7th (although tickets will be available on a limited basis at the door for $15. Plan on another wonderful day of worship, fellowship, a great message from Beth and a delicious lunch!
Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) are a great "next step" beyond attending worship services. ABFs are a time of teaching and discussion with an aim of building relationship around God's Word. ABF's have ended for the Spring but will resume this Fall on Sunday, September 7th. Click (link) for a sample listing of classes. Classes begin Sunday, September 7th, at 10:00 a.m., but are designed so you can join any class any Sunday.

Sunday, September 7th, Bill and Marilyn Wayland and Camano Chapel are hosting a special BBQ event at Peace Haven (628 Weston Road, Camano Island) to thank God for His provisions over the years and to extend an invitation to others who might not be as familiar with this special ministry, located just down the road from Camano Chapel. Everyone is invited to join in the 5pm dinner and enjoy a brief program of sharing, music, and strolling through both Peace & Rest Haven cabins. The event is sure to be a fun, family oriented event and is free!
Ladies! ~ Join our LifeSpring Bible Study Group as we journey through Beth Moore's "Brealomg Free" (revised edition beginning the week of September 15th. Cost of books is $20 and childcare is offered. Two sessions are offered:

Class One - - "Church History"
Teacher: Pastor Kris
Course Overview: This class will cover the key people, movements, and church developments from the first century to the modern era. We will especially see how God has been faithful to His church over the centuries. This class will meet on Wednesday nights, 6:30 to 8:30pm, from September 17 through November 19. Tuition is $30.00.
Class Two - - "Bible Study Methods"
Teacher: Pastor Steve
Course Overview: This class will focus on essential Bible study methods and rules of interpretation with emphasis on accurately understanding and obeying God's Word and the development of practical skills. Students will learn to determine what Scripture says, what it means, and how it can be applied. This class will meet Thursday nights, 6:30 to 8:30pm, from September 11 through November 20.

Registration is now open for fall 2014-15 Preschool and Kindergarten school year. Preschool, taught by Teacher Berna is for 3 and 4 year olds. Kindergarten, taught by Teacher Becky is for 4 and 5 year olds (Please check with teachers to see age requirements). Preschool runs 9:00 to 11:15am or 12:15 to 2:30pm, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Cost is $110 a month with a $75 (non-refundable) registration fee. Pre-kindergarten follows the publich school schedule with classes that run Monday, Thursdsay, every other Wednesday OR Tuesday, Friday, every other Wednesday with a full day option (9am to 3:15pm) or half day option (9am to 1pm or 11:15am to 3:15pm). Cost is $180 for full days or $125 a month for half days with a $75 (non-refundable) registration fee. For more information call the church office and ask for Becky or Berna.

A brand new year of Chapelites invites all who are at least 55 to partake in our twice monthly Bible study/breakfast. Mark your calendar for the first and third Thursday of each month, We promise you the sweetest fellowship, a delicious breakfast and God's Word in a way that will personally speak to your heart. We gather in the East Room at 9am, beginning Thursday, September 18th, 2014.
GriefShare is a special weekly support group gathering for people of all ages grieving the death of someone close. It's a place where you can be around people who understand the pain of loss. The death of a loved one is devastating. Grieving and growing is complicated because life is complicated. Moving through hurt to hope is a process. Positive growth is possible; in fact, it is promised in scripture. You can find God's healing and hope for your loss.
Young or old, join facilitators Gloria Walsh and Jon Rice, Wednesday nights, 6:30 to 8:30pm, beginning this Fall, September 10th in the Hearth Room.

If you are interested in finding out about Pure Word Ministries, established to help those walking through life-controlling issues, Join us for a BBQ on Wednesday, Sept 10th, 6-8:30pm at the Chapel, room 4/6.
Pure Word is a Christ-centered recovery ministry at Camano Chapel for men and women struggling with life-controlling issues. This group is open to the community every Wednesday night from 6-8 p.m. The women meet in Room 4/6 and the men meet in Room 1b.
